Cute baby alert!

February 10, 2010

I was so excited to get to shoot pictures of baby R.  My sister’s best friends Lindsey & Doug just had a baby, my sister has been telling me how awesome Lindsey is for years, so I was excited to spend some time with her & her new family.  My sister doesn’t lie, they’re both very sweet.  Plus I’ve been hibernating a bit for the winter, so it was nice to start shooting again. I can’t wait for spring!

Here are a few of my favorites so far.

Who wouldn’t love a face this sweet!

I love baby toes, how cute.

Baby L turns 1!

October 25, 2009

I can’t believe it’s been a whole year already! It’s been so great watching this little guy grow from a tiny newborn. Now he’s walking & starting to talk! It was so cute hearing him babble throughout the shoot! It was so great getting to know him & his wonderful family over the past year.

As usual, it was pretty hard to pick only a few favorites. He has so many cute expressions!

Peek-a-boo!

I think he was blowing kisses here.

He’s such a happy little guy.

This one just makes me smile. 😀

I love mornings…

August 29, 2009

If you’re wondering where I’ve been the last few weeks, we’ve had quite the busy month.  My sister, my daughter & I were all born in August, so we had a month of birthdays! I turned 29 this year, not quite used to that yet, but it’s been a good year. Crystal just turned 9, and both the kids started new schools this month, so we’ve been getting them adjusted.  Last night we picked up Crystal’s first Viola, she’s starting orchestra this year (I’ll have to get some pictures up soon). We also had one of my best friends come up from Arizona to stay with us, so it’s been a bit crazy. I’m happy to get back to some photo shoots!

Those of you who know me might be thinking that this blog tittle is a bald-faced lie, and ordinarily you would be right.  I’m not a morning person at all, it might have been partially because of all the night jobs I’ve had over the year, but regardless, I’m not generally cheerful first thing in the morning.  I think all that might be changing though, we did this cutie’s photo shoot bright and early this morning, and the light was amazing.  So pretty I might be forcing myself out of bed early more often!

I probably posted way too many pictures of this little guy, but I couldn’t help it, he’s so adorable! His little smile was just contagious, and he’s at such a fun age, you start to see a bit of a personality emerging, it’s wonderful!

If the above picture didn’t make you smile, you might be a grump.

Gotta love those raspberries. 😀

Oooh! I love this face!

There’s that pretty light I’m loving!

This little guy is such a momma’s boy, it’s adorable. I love how sweet they look together.

We were so worried we’d have rain today for baby L’s 6 month pictures , but we were really fortunate and the rain held off.  I was really looking forward to this shoot, baby L’s last few shoots were all indoors (here, here and here) , and I’ve been waiting for the weather to improve so we could finally get some outdoors shots.

I’m so happy it worked out and I got to take some more pictures of this happy little cutie! We went back to Vandeveer Park where we took his beautiful mom’s maternity pictures. I think I have to give bonus points to his mom & big sister for being the best cheering squad I’ve ever seen, it really paid off though, they got some huge smiles out of him. That top one is my favorite so far, so cute!

Oh & a big thanks to mom & sister, I lost something in the park during the shoot & they both came out to help me look.  I can’t wait to see them again for his 9 month pictures.

No babies were harmed in the making of these photos! Mom was hiding behind the wall holding him the whole time.
Couldn’t decide between the Cross Processed version and the Black & white for this one, so I posted them both.

He’s got such gorgeous blue eyes!

Don’t you just love that smile! 🙂

3 month preview

January 10, 2009

I got to see this adorable little guy again today. It’s so much fun to see him getting bigger. Here are a few adorable previews from his session. You can see his newborn session here and here; and his adorable momma’s maternity session here.

You gotta just love those baby blues. 🙂

“Go Hawks!”

I absolutely love his little laugh, so cute

Cory told me I couldn’t edit these. The rivalry continues.

A few more baby L pictures

I’m a sucker for adorable babies, so I had to post a few more.

Yep, he stuck his tongue out at me, how cute is that. 🙂

Baby L

November 16, 2008

I’m a bit behind on posting, I was planning a big Halloween post, but by the time I get to it I’ll probably be behind on a Thanksgiving post. Maybe next week?

I got to take adorable newborn pictures this weekend! Isn’t he a cutie? You might remember his gorgeous momma from her maternity shoot a few months ago. It sounds like he had a pretty rough time making it into the world, but they both got through safely, thankfully.

He’s actually quite a few weeks old, but ironically he now weighs what my son weighed at birth (10lbs, 13oz), so he looked newborn to me. 😀 Congratulations you guys on your new addition!

I just love baby toes, so cute. 😀

I think this was my favorite.

sweet dreams

Last weekend my friend Rob asked me to take pictures of his newborn niece Lily (They named her after my first car, ok not really, but I’m going to pretend.) , I was so ecstatic. Rob is one of those friends that I’ve had since high school. He’s been around for most of the important moments of my life since then (we were playing Star Wars Trivia Pursuit when I went into labor with Crystal, and yeah we’re dorks, lol) and he’s a really great guy and an awesome friend.

Not only that but his family is awesome, they’re some of those rare people that would make you feel at home even if you’re a complete stranger. When my daughter was about two she used to call Rob’s sister (Brianne) “Girlfriend”, I still am not quite sure why, but it was super cute.

Anyways when I heard newborn I got excited, since my kids are both in grade school and it seems like so long since they were tiny babies. I did however forget how much newborns want to be held, so I almost got my fill of baby holding, almost (Bri, seriously call me if you ever want a sitter for either munchkin!!) . These were some of my favorites.

Look at those cheeks, isn’t she the most adorable baby.

I love tiny toes!
